Yolanda Rumph, The Collective Flo

Building a Business When Time is Not on Your SideYolanda Rumph is the founder and Chief People Officer of The Collective Flo. As an Operations and Team Success strategist, she helps established agency-styled online service providers and coaches build strong teams. She has over 20 years of operational experience in the corporate world of a Fortune 500 company in mid-management and employee training capacities after receiving her BS degree in Business Administration.

When it was announced that her department was being transitioned overseas, Yolanda began to explore the online world of opportunities. While working with different industries, such as trademark attorneys, website designers, and marketing agencies, she quickly realized there was a gap between the CEOs' annual financial goals and their actual results. These leaders found themselves on a plateau. There were many variables to consider, but the most common denominators in these scenarios were "holes" found in the day-to-day operations of the business involving team structure.

Yolanda firmly believes "Successful businesses are only as strong as the systems they are built on and the people who built them." People are the most valuable system in any business. Happy and fulfilled employees/contractors are loyal employees/contractors who will give 1000% when they feel supported by the company. To bridge the gap and fill the "holes", Yolanda became certified as a Director of Operations to better serve leaders by aligning their teams with their mission, vision, and values.

When she is not working with rockstar clients, Yolanda runs a household family of four humans, an American Bully (Perris), and a fish named Bleu in the small town of Rock Hill, South Carolina (15 minutes from Charlotte, NC). She is a lover of coffee (my Starbucks baristas get excited when I change my selection up every once in a while). She will travel for amazing food experiences (pre-covid). Fun fact, she is a huge Marvel and Anime fan (thanks to her Man-child).
