Incredible Craniosacral Therapy Session!

craniosacral therapySo I had a Craniosacral Therapy session from a  friend who does Reiki & Craniosacral therapy.  I hadn't heard about it before but if she was involved, I was definitely there.  I enjoy her energy and simply trust her.  I have to be honest, I did not know what to expect.  She gave me a brochure and my friend Cynthia who is a massage therapist gave me some info even though it is not something she practices.  I have found that I actually do like going into things without any preconceptions or expectations.  I seem to be better able to just experience it as it happens and observe it all no matter what it is.  If I go into something with preconceptions or expectations, I tend to be disappointed.  I have also learned not to let someone else's experience or truth be mine.  Gotta love the individuality of this thing called life.

Back to the session.  I went into it a little frustrated & impatient with things in my life and a little “pms-y.”  I remember thinking ‘this should be interesting.'  It was fabulous!  I laid on a massage table on my back and unlike massage, I remained fully dressed, minus the shoes.  The pressure she used was extremely light but incredibly effective.  I felt as if I were suspended in time, in a very safe place where I was well cared for.  It was so relaxing and peaceful.  I had a couple of revelations and became very centered & grounded.  One of the big things I realized was that I need to care for & nurture myself the same way I do my 11 year old.  I encourage her to be herself and allow her to be who she is…what an incredible thing it would be if I did that for myself! Something inside reminded me that everything is ok & will work out exactly as it is supposed to.  Even though  I know this, I occasionally allow myself to give in to my very human-ness and panic that things may not work out.  I suppose the best I can do at this point is acknowledge it and look around for the evidence that it really will be ok, whatever happens.

Anyway…the session.  The calmness I walked away with is priceless.  If you're local & would like to try it out, let me know.  I'll send you Shani's contact info.  I hope our Passion Test sessions are as good for her as this has been for me.

Where are you located, Candace? I would suggest looking for someone in your local area and then doing a little research for testimonials or feedback for the ones you’re interested in.
